Sales and Service Technician for rail car parts manufacturer .
Responsibilities
  1. Reports to Regional Manager and will represent all company
    divisions for the assigned customers in the Midwest Region.
  2. Responsible for all field sales/service activities.
  3. Manage and close out all warranty items.
    FMI/PMI's at all customer locations in a timely manner and at a minimal cost.
  4. Work closely with customers in all levels.
    Implement and negotiate special projects, kits, uprades, repairs and obtain spare part orders for all divisions.
  5. Submit monthly reports detailing market information, opportunities
    including $ values and competitive activities.
Requirements and Skills
  1. Must have hands on mechanical and electrical skills.
  2. Should have own basic mechanical tools.
  3. Good written and verbal communication skills with customers & management.
  4. Positive attitude in personal and professional conduct.
  5. Ability to sell, market, and service company equipment used on passenger transit vehicles in a timel
  6. To be able to travel to customer locations and other company facilities as needed.
  7. Pre-employmet and random drug and alcohol screening.
  8. Pre-employment background check must be free and clear of any criminal and/or DUI activity.
Education
  1. An engineering or technical degree is preferred or min. 5 years equipvalent experience.
