Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) have extensive personnel and controls in their factories. As product is delivered to the client, contract requirements concerning warranty, component modifications and retrofits may occur.

Whether it's a small electrical component or an entire rail car, Altech can provide turn-key services to perform any scope of work at single or multiple locations, thus maintaining OEM standards in the field and throughout the warranty program.

Altech maintains centralized databases for all of its projects. Accordingly, each client can obtain the most current information, which can be accessed from any remote location via the internet.

As newer state-of-the-art equipment is utilized, vendors may require field services to augment their contractual obligations in terms of formal classroom training and other support services.

Altech has managed several projects for OEM vendors to install and train on new systems provided by the manufacturer. Systems may range from very technical braking or electrical systems, to basic mechanical-type components. In all applications, Altech provides qualified instructors, usually with ten or more years of transit experience, to manage the instruction and orientation programs. Altech conducts full discovery of all technical specifications at the vendor's plant and formulates lesson plans accordingly.
